Superdrug’s Tea Tree Skincare range isn’t something I come across often amongst the beauty community. For the past couple of years I’ve been using the Deep Cleansing Mud Mask from the Tea Tree Skincare range and it’s one of my favourites. So much so, that I constantly curse the brand for not making it into a tube instead of the single use sachets. And I’m here to tell you why I think you’ll love it too.
Over the past two to three years I’ve been on a face mask hype. I have dry/combination skin. Which means that I don’t have dry patches but my skin is always in need of hydration. I have large pores on my nose and slight texture on either sides of it. I’ve tried a lot of products over the years, and the texture isn’t budging. I don’t think it will without a pretty penny and a doctor, so I try to make it look as smooth and as soft as possible.
When I first discovered this face mask around 4 years ago. Buying it was a whim and not expecting the best but tried it anyway. I was shocked at how lovely of a face mask it is. I’ve been using it for a few years and buy one every couple of months in between using face masks I already own. Let me tell you why.
The Tea Tree mask says that it ‘helps refresh and draw out impurities to promote a clearer- looking complexion’. I agree with that 100%. The mask feels tingly when you apply it to your skin and cools your face while it’s on. I tend to leave it on for around half an hour until it’s completely dried out and then wipe away using a wet face cloth in circular motions. It’s quite a thick mask and if you use it without going OTT you could probably get two uses out of the sachet.
What this mask does is it deep cleans my nose which is a pore haven, makes my skin super soft and makes the texture’s appearance near my nose calm down. I find it’s a great mask to use before a big day as it doesn’t ever break me out. Which I’m normally prone to after a deep cleansing mask. My makeup always goes on super smooth the day after I use this mask and I love it. It’s not a hydrating mask, but it also doesn’t dry out my skin either which is a bonus.
Honestly for the price of this mask you’d be foolish not to pick it up on your next trip to the drugstore. It’s amazing especially for the price which is £1. Yep. £1. You heard me. Probably my all time favourite mask.
