After venturing and seeing the new Selfridges beauty hall I’ve created a wish list. I wanted to share with you all some of the things that I’ve seen recently that I wish was in my collection and a couple of things that I’ve lusted over for a while. A few of the things on the list are what I have seen other influencers wear, some are what my friends have tried and some are just lust.
The first product is this Urban Decay Naked Skin Shapeshifter palette. What I love most about this is that it is versatile and there are so many different shades to contour and bronze and highlight with. It’s perfect for someone like me who is light skinned and likes to fake tan. So it works perfectly when tan is fading but also at my natural tan. I think it would be perfect for anyone with light to medium skin tones. As well as this palette they have one for those with medium to dark skin tones to compliment their skin too. Urban Decay Naked Skin Shapeshifter Palette £39.50
Next is the Too Faced Better Than Birthday Sex Mascara. For years I’ve seen people go on about this mascara. To me, mascara is just mascara. There aren’t many miracle workers that are going to make your eyelashes look as long as Rapunzels hair but it’s the way it makes you feel. A good mascara will lift your lashes, separate them, thicken them and make them look long. I fell in love with a Covergirl mascara a few years ago when I visited New York and haven’t fallen head over heels with a mascara since. My next purchase is going to be this to see if it’s really worth the hype. Too Faced Better Than Birthday Sex Mascara – £19
Up next is the Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder in Translucent. Me and powder are a big no no. I’ve heard so many people talk about this with all different skin types including my best friend so I am curious about how this would work for me, and how I would use it. Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder – £29.
This Natasha Denona Tropic Eyeshadow Palette is a little dream. The only thing that isn’t is the price. There are just so many different looks you could create with this palette and some you’d experiment with. That bright red is calling to me and that green is begging for some disaster for me to create. Natasha Denona Tropic Eyeshadow Palette – £111
Zoeva are one of my all time favourite brush brands. I first heard of them a few years back and then was able to find them on a trip to Germany. I love their brushes and the quality and have quite a few in my collection but would love to own the complete set. Zoeva – The Complete Set – £95
The infamous Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Pillowtalk Lipstick is on my must have list. There are so many people that love this lipstick and in honestly I’ve never tried any CT stuff before. I have actually walked past her in person which was strange. Pillowtalk seems like the perfect nude to ease you into a new brand and one day I’ll buy this and not just for the packaging! Charlotte Tilbury Pillowtalk – £24
And last but not least another infamous product on this list is the It Cosmetics CC cream. I first heard about this through The Anna Edit. There are a lot of days where I don’t wear as full coverage as I used to and I think this is a buildable product that will be able to ease me into light makeup routines. It’s finally in Boots and in Selfridges so it’ll be easier for me to go and pick a shade to match. IT cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream – £30
And there we have my makeup wish list that I’m currently lusting over. There are just so many good products out there that I want to try lately! What are on your wish list?
