After a very stressful day or week or well year, there is nothing I want more than to pamper myself. Sometimes I’ll make a whole evening of it. Or sometimes I’ll just take an hour of my time to just treat myself to some self love. This is why I wanted to show you my favourite products for a pamper night that I actually enjoy using. These are my comfort zone products that make me feel great without trying something new.
First up, after I’ve taken any makeup off if I’ve wore it that day, I like to use the Dermologica Daily Superfoliant. It’s just a great exfoliant for your face and makes my skin feel super smooth.
Next I love to using a moisturising face mask and I’ve been using this Bunny Moon Jelly Face Mask from LUSH. MY favourite face masks seem to be sheet masks lately but I’m enjoying this one as it’s more than one use.
After a face mask is done, I use a toner on my face to make my skin more hydrated. If I have any blemishes I use the Mario Badescu Drying lotion with a cotton bud and cover them up. I find that it works a treat on up and coming spots and makes them step down a notch!
After everything is done and dried I go in with The Body Shop Vitamin E cream and use it on the lower half of my face avoiding my forehead as that’s the only place I get slightly oily at night. It just helps plump up my skin and finalises everything ready for bed.
Preparing for fake tan.
On my pamper nights I like to try and have a bath or a shower and scrub any old fake tan off. I tend to do it the night before to put on fake tan the day after. Trying to do things as quickly as possible is key in my routine as I don’t get much time to spare. I shift between the two of these Soap and Glory body scrubs as I haven’t found that much of a difference but they both smell amazing.
After a good scrub I like to moisturise my body and I’ve been using this LUSH Sleepy body lotion. I actually love the lotion as a lotion, but not keen on it from a parent POV. It’s my favourite smelling thing from LUSH EVER. I use the Twilight spray on the daily just for the fragrance.
Hands I find to be one of the most neglected area’s. I certainly neglect mine too I’ll admit it! But don’t forget to moisturise those as they are the first places to age! Hand Food by Soap And Glory is my go to. It smells amazing and does a great job without being greasy. Last but not least I use my favourite pastel quick dry nail varnish from Barry M to spruce my nails. I have several colours from the range. My favourite at the moment is Lap Of Honour which is the perfect pastel lavender shade. These are just so easy to apply and quick for someone like me who tends to get nail varnish everywhere!
There we have it my favourite products to use for a pamper night in. What are your go to favourites to use for a pamper night? Have you tried any of the above? Let me know!
