MY BLOG GOALS FOR THE NEXT 6 MONTHS.

blog goals for 2018 ohluna oh luna

This year didn’t start off quite as planned with my blog. However I’m pushing more now than ever and wanted to share my blog goals for the next 6 months. Having goals to me, means that I have something to work towards. Something to push myself forward and achieve. So that even when it might not seem like I’m getting far each day, over time it shows.

I started my blog at the start of this year. And as the year went on, I shyed away from it for a couple of months after the launch. I got writers block straight away. Which is scary considering what I put in, to launch the blog itself. It gradually got better and in March and April I started to take it more seriously and May was my best month yet.

My blog goals for the next 6 months.

Up my photography game.

First things first, I want to up my photography. Looking at comparisons from my old blog to what I’ve done so far this year I’ve come leaps and bounds but I know what I want to achieve, what I need to achieve it and I’m forever being inspired. So this year, I want to compare from the start of the year to the end and hopefully see a big difference.

Get a higher DA.

If you’re a blogger then no doubt you know what a DA or Domain Authority is. It’s your score about how you rank on search engines so I would love for my score to go up. It kind of shows to a blogger in my opinion their hard work. The more you work, the better you’re linking yourself up and getting yourself more known, the better the score.

Set up a meet up.

I’ve been talking to so so many amazing ladies and a few fellas through blogging and I would love to have a big meetup. I know a lot of bloggers meet at events and conventions but I think it would be nice to do a meetup with the kids and just have a coffee and explore a museum or something. I would love to set that up for later this year.

New logo design.

There’s nothing I love more than logos. Honestly I get such a buzz designing logo’s but sitting down and having the time to do it, is another thing. I really want to try something completely new and maybe have someone else do it for me instead.

Gain a wider audience.

Don’t get me wrong, blogging isn’t about the numbers when you write things for yourself, but being able to reach more people is wonderful. Especially when you talk about taboo topics that help people, and to connect with others. It’s a nice feeling that people enjoy your work at the end of the day, and I’d love to build my audience more so.

Crack Pinterest.

Something I always like to look at social media wise is Pinterest. Do I get it properly? Nope. Will I ever? We’ll see. But I really want to venture into it and use it to help reach a wider audience. I’m putting in a little bit of effort, trial and error if you will. So I will check back in, in a months time with my results!

Your blog is so dreamy and beautiful – and such great goals! When I first started blogging I had no idea for years haha, it’s only the last couple of years I’ve been picking up more stuff but I wish I knew how to crack Pinterest and build my audience too, there are still so many things to learn for me 😀 I would love to experience a meetup! xx
