FIVE JUNE GOALS.

goals for june ohlunaSo it’s finally June. We’re halfway through the year and it seems to be flying by but I wanted to share with you my June goals. I actually write down my goals every month in a notebook but I tend to shy away from them at times. My thinking is that if I post them on the internet, I need to stick to them right?! Anyway, I have come up with 5 goals for June.

Push my blog.

First things first. I want to push my blog. When I started this blog back in January and I only started really pushing it in March. I love blogging so much and being a full time stay at home takes up pretty much all of my time. I’m determined to keep pushing my blog and my work. It keeps me sane and I can be incredibly proud of the work I do. I want to just keep tooting my own horn and go full throttle. Find my style.

Weight.

This one is extremely personal to myself. I’ve never been confident when it comes to my weight. However in the past year and half I’ve put on 3 stone and it makes me feel a bit sick honestly. I’m at my heaviest I’ve ever been right now. It’s bugging me because I have two stomach problems which causes me to be in agony and it stops me from excersising. It sounds like an excuse but believe me it really isn’t. I can’t wait until myself and my doctors figure out what is wrong with me, and be able to help fix it so I can go back to the gym.

Take time out for myself.

I wrote about mum guilt recently and how it affects my everyday living. I can’t lie down without thinking about the millions of things that need to be done around the house, the shopping lists and if I do something for myself I feel guilty. It’s getting easier to try and steer from that mentality. In relation to this, I need to pamper myself. Not going on my phone. Not going on the laptop or cleaning until past bedtime. Beating myself up if I don’t get as much done as possible. I’m going to do face masks, paint my nails and read a book. It’s time to look after myself and give myself some self love.

Go for long walks.

In relation to my weight issues, I want to go on long walks again. It’s a gentle excersize that I can manage if my stomach doesn’t play up. I want to keep trying to walk further and take my daughter to the park the next town on as it’s much better. Pack up a picnic and enjoy the summer sun while it’s here. I enjoy walking places and exploring, I’m going to try and make it at LEAST a weekly thing.

Create a summer playlist.

Last but not least, I want to create a summer playlist. I’m a sucker for sticking on mix playlists on Youtube and I really don’t get the most out of all the bands that I really love and the summery cheesy pop that puts you in a proper feel good mood! I’m going to create the perfect ’emo/metal/cheesy pop’ playlist for me to pop on no matter my mood!

    I’m gaining so much weight as well because I hate exercise and love food, it’s not great!! Hope you manage to get some me time soon x

      Honestly I love food but I love the gym too, I just don’t get the chance to be able to go unfortunately. x

    These are simple but really great goals to achieve – I can’t imagine how much of a struggle it is to find time to yourself as a parent so it’s great you’re going to find some you time!

    Aw, I loved this post! Yes, definitely take some time out for yourself when you can. Try not to worry about getting things done, they’ll get done eventually. And I can relate with the weight part, I’m my biggest I’ve been and it has really been getting me down. I recently joined a local gym with my boyfriend and I’ve felt so much better in myself and determined to go x

      Thanks Megan! I’m the exact same. There’s literally no time for me to go to the gym at the moment and it sucks, I’m the weirdo that LOVES the gym! I hope you carry on because if it makes you feel great inside it’ll radiate on the outside too! x

    I think it’s great that you’ve set yourself goals. Sometimes smaller goals can help achieve your long term ones so even if you tell yourself you’ll eat healthily until the weekend to help with your weight goal. And then have treats at the weekend. I know myself that it’s not easy! Xx

      Exactly! I try to eat healthy but when I get in so much pain I just want comfort food. Hopefully it will get sorted soon! Thanks babes!
